Welcome to the first post on my first blog:
Since I have no idea were to begin with writing blogs I suppose I'll start with outlining the purpose of this blog. I recently discovered, well not really discovered as much as I just started to care, that I have too much to say about things and too short of a memory span to put any idea to use. Epidemies do nobody any good if I forget them as fast as they come to me. Mainly though, I have the most to say about religion and those that choose to either be a part of it or not be a part of it. There's no doubt for me that religion is up the creek without a paddle and who better to save it than a humanist that is interested in taking God out of as many things as humanly possible, no pun intended. It's not so much that I'm looking to prove the lack of a God, but rather I'm looking to attribute anomalies to their proper sources. Just like lightning turned out to not be brought on by Zeus, I think it's pretty plausible that a lot of other things are not brought on by a being living on top of a mountain. So if your strongly religious and reading any future posts I imagine youll be fairly offended, but don't worry, I believe in equality and promise to equally offend everyone else too.
